Kolb is part of the global company KLK OLEO. Integrated along the whole value chain, Kolb offers a wide product range as well as access to all services to better meet customer needs.

Kolb manufacturers non-ionic surfactants, paper process chemicals and chemical intermediates, employing around 270 people. The company processes natural and synthetic raw materials into high-quality products at its production sites in Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Product manufacturing is based on their own production methods in the field of alkoxylation, esterification and special processes. Amongst their strengthsis the flexibility with which they tackle the market. Their services include consulting on optimal application of products, product development in strong cooperation with partners and customers, and rapid identification of needs and provision of solutions-even in unforseen situations

 

LAKELAND

Lakeland Laboratories was formed in 1963 as a surfactant blending company in the North West of England, specialising in cleaning, brewery and laundry products. In the 1970's the company moved away from blended products to concentrate on speciality surfactant manufacturing.

This strategy has been continued with plant expansion and development of ranges of amphoterics, phosphate esters, imidazolines and wax emulsions.

Lakeland Laboratories traditional market serving the maintenance chemical industry still provides a major source of business. Through continual development, the company has increasingly become known as a major manufacturer of speciality surfactants into Europe and other world markets.
